Birthrate Plus® began as a midwifery-led research project in the 1980s, grounded in evidence, professional expertise and a commitment to improving care for women, babies and families.
Those principles still guide our work today.
As maternity services and workforce pressures continue to change, we want to strengthen our engagement with research and with people working across maternity, workforce planning and service improvement.
